We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Consultant Specialist.

In this role, you will:

  1. Understand and translate organizational goals relevant to your services and define Service Level Objectives (SLOs), such as reduction of incidents, improving service availability, and maintaining or enhancing SLAs.
  2. Define and agree on SLAs with upstream and downstream systems, including regulatory feeds.
  3. Understand IT risk-related controls and ensure all your services are compliant (e.g., identity access management, change management, release & incident management).
  4. Manage incident triage calls and make quick decisions for service recovery.
  5. Develop service improvement plans, estimate resources, and secure funding through agreement with the business.
  6. Collaborate with vendors to define success criteria for service improvements and execute outcome-based contracts.
  7. Specify requirements for building observability dashboards according to industry standards.
  8. Review hardware and software upgrade requirements for your services and plan remediation activities.
  9. Define and improve release checklists for all changes going into production.
  10. Ensure service sustainability by periodically reviewing capacity requirements and securing necessary funding.
  11. Develop strategies to proactively identify and decommission inactive roles, users, processes, and data in an automated manner.
  12. Build, sustain, and upgrade CI/CD pipelines to support automated deployments.
  13. Maintain excellent understanding of financials, monitor deliverables, compliance, automation usage, budget variances, and provide governance around exposure and solution design where appropriate.
  14. Create SLIs reports for senior stakeholder forums.
  15. Conduct periodic meetings with business owners to review service performance.
  16. Manage support teams, including permanent staff and contractors.
