A fast growing solar company SMART SOLAR requires an experienced Marketing Executive having a dynamic personality and experience with solar products and a good understanding of electrical components. The candidate must be able to promote the marketing and sales of PV Solar Systems. The Marketing Executive is responsible for implementing the marketing efforts of Smart Solar.

Job Specification
  • Lead strategic marketing decisions and discussions
  • Develop customer-facing communications
  • Develop public relations assets
  • Coordinate marketing efforts with management, vendors, and sales team(s)
  • Quantify marketing results with historical and industry trend data comparisons
  • Increase year-over-year lead volume and quality as measured by:
    • Quantity of geographically qualified leads
    • Company conversion ratios (of leads who see presentations), recognizing that this is also a function of sales effectiveness which cannot be directly impacted by the marketing manager
    • Improving the quality of lead tracking with a focus on determining the return on investment for different types of investments provided
    • Constantly seek, present, plan, and execute new ways to market our services with a focus on decreasing the cost of customer acquisition on a per-sale basis
  • Assist in the administration and coordination of current marketing campaigns
  • Help prepare and set up for presentations and run local events.
  • Perform market analysis and research on competition
  • Support the sales team in daily marketing administrative tasks
  • Assist in marketing and advertising promotional activities (e.g. social media, direct mail, and web)
  • Plan and execute groundbreaking and ribbon-cutting ceremonies
  • Write or coordinate content writing for the company blog and press releases
  • Support public relations efforts

Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

  • Must have knowledge of solar panels and inverters
  • A strong background from the electrical department
  • Proficient with computers and social media platforms
  • Must be a problem solver, self-motivated, and competitive
  • Must have a passion for renewable energy
  • Able to perform well in a high-energy, chaotic environment
