Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage, maintain, and optimize Microsoft SQL Server databases supporting data import activities.
  • Design and refine complex SQL queries, views, stored procedures, and triggers to improve performance and accuracy.
  • Optimize and troubleshoot slow-running queries, indexing strategies, and execution plans.
  • Collaborate with developers, analysts, and billing experts to streamline data workflows and reporting processes.
  • Develop and maintain robust data models, schema designs, and backup/recovery strategies.
  • Implement and monitor database security, performance tuning, and high availability solutions.
  • Automate recurring tasks and data validation processes for improved operational efficiency.
  • Create, maintain, and optimize custom reports used by billing and revenue cycle management teams.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Database Administrator, more years in the medical billing or healthcare data domain will be a plus.
  • Proven expertise in Microsoft SQL Server (2016 or later).
  • Experience working with large-scale billing data, claims, remittance advice (835/837), CPT/ICD codes, and HIPAA-compliant data structures.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL-based reporting tools.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills (English Preferred)
