Technical Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead and manage projects involving Microsoft Fabric technology. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of projects that leverage Microsoft Fabric for data integration, analytics, and cloud solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, architects, developers, and stakeholders, to ensure that project objectives are met on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning: Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, resources, and budgets, for Microsoft Fabric projects. Define project milestones, deliverables, and success criteria.
2. Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and understanding of project goals, progress, and issues. Facilitate regular project meetings and status updates.
3. Team Leadership: Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, including data engineers, architects, developers, and business analysts. Assign tasks, set deadlines, and ensure that team members have the resources and support they need.
4. Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and issues related to Microsoft Fabric implementation. Develop and implement mitigation strategies to address risks and ensure project success.
5. Quality Assurance: Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and adhere to best practices for Microsoft Fabric technologies. Conduct reviews and testing to verify that solutions are functional, reliable, and meet business requirements.
6. Resource Management: Allocate and manage project resources effectively, including team members, budget, and technology. Monitor resource utilization and adjust plans as needed to address changes in project scope or priorities.
7. Change Management: Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and resources. Ensure that changes are documented, communicated, and approved by stakeholders.
8. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, issue logs, and post-implementation reviews. Ensure documentation is up-to-date and accessible.
9. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies in project management practices. Implement best practices and lessons learned from previous projects to enhance project delivery.

Qualifications:

1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Project Management, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are a plus.
2. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Technical Project Manager, with a proven track record of managing technology projects.
3. Technical Skills: Solid understanding of Microsoft Fabric components, including data integration, analytics, and cloud solutions. Experience with project management tools and methodologies. Familiarity with data engineering, data warehousing, and cloud technologies.
4. Soft Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on delivering results. Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
5. Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Agile) are highly desirable.
