We are seeking a versatile and results-oriented Content & PR Marketing Specialist to build our brand presence, engage our target audience, nurture leads, and drive growth through compelling content, strategic public relations efforts, and effective email marketing campaigns. You will be responsible for creating a wide range of content, building community, and developing and executing email marketing strategies that drive engagement and conversions. You will be a strong storyteller with excellent writing and communication skills, a proactive approach to outreach, a knack for crafting engaging emails, and a passion for building meaningful connections.

Description

  • Content Creation: Develop engaging and informative content across various formats, including blog posts, articles, website copy, video scripts, social media updates, email newsletters, and more.
  • Guest Article Creation & Outreach: Research relevant industry publications and websites, develop compelling guest article pitches, write high-quality guest posts, and manage the submission and publication process.
  • PR Article Development: Craft compelling press releases, media advisories, and other PR materials to announce company news, product launches, and achievements.
  • CEO Branding & Profile Building: Support the development and execution of strategies to enhance the CEO's visibility and establish them as a thought leader through interviews, speaking engagements, and content contributions.
  • Community Building: Create and manage profiles on relevant online platforms and communities, actively engage with audiences through comments and discussions, and foster a positive brand presence.
  • Email Content Creation: Write compelling and engaging email copy for newsletters, promotional campaigns, product updates, onboarding sequences, and automated email flows.
  • Content Distribution: Develop and implement strategies to effectively distribute content across various channels, including leveraging email marketing to amplify reach and engagement.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze the performance of content, PR, and email marketing initiatives, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
  • Staying Current: Stay up-to-date on the latest content marketing trends, PR best practices, email marketing trends, and social media developments.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of proven experience in content creation, public relations, and/or email marketing.
  • Exceptional writing skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to create engaging content for diverse audiences and platforms according to the sales and marketing funnel. Experience in developing and executing PR strategies.
  • Experience in developing and executing email marketing campaigns using email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Klaviyo).
  • Knowledge of email marketing best practices, including segmentation, automation, and deliverability.
  • Experience in managing and growing email lists.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
  • A creative and proactive approach with a passion for storytelling, brand building, and driving results.
  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and social media platforms.

  • Experience with marketing automation platforms.
  • Experience with A/B testing for email optimization.
  • Familiarity with SEO principles and how content contributes to organic search.
  • Experience in a startup or fast-paced environment.
