Job Description:

Qualification & Experience:

- BE in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent from HEC recognized University.

- 5-7 years of experience in solar system installation (on-grid/off-grid), HVAC layout and commissioning,VRF/VRV systems,and BMS systems.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist DD Energy in O&M of all Allied facilities at NUST Campus Sector H-12,Islamabad.

- Planning,execution and maint of HVAC and solar equipment.

- Develop and implement campus wide engergy conservation strategies,policies and standards for E&ME systems,HVAC,renewable energy future solutions(solar/battery storage,micro grids,smart metering).

- Plan and supervise implementation of engergy-saving measures.

- Pilot emerging technologies (e.g., AI-driven load forecasting) and promote green campus initiatives (e.g. EV charging stations, solar-powered buildings).

- Monitor and analyses energy consumption data (e.g., via SCADA/ BMS) to identify inefficiencies and ensure uninterrupted supply.

- Evaluate, budget, recommend and oversee energy-efficient retrofitting and system upgrade projects and Ensure quality control during installation, testing, and commissioning phases.

- Supervise maintenance/upgrades of equipment (Solar Panel, Gas Systems & HVAC Plants).

- Assist residents at H-12 campus for installation of private/ independent solar system.

- Manage administrative matters including staff discipline under E&D rules and initiation of ACRs for reporting officers.

- Perform any other duties as assigned by the DD (Energy).

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

- Should be hardworking, honest, obedient, and a dedicated professional.

- Possesses extensive experience in electrical work, particularly in development projects.

- Strong commitment to professional assignments, with a keen interest in structural and infrastructure development.

- Familarity with PV syst,PVSOL,Dialux,and AutoCAD.

- Capable of supervising EPC contractors and managing engergy projects.

- Experience with solar monitoring platforms and HVAC automation.

Terms and Conditions:

- Last education certificate/degree must be attested/verified by HEC.

- 3rd Div in academic career / weak academic profile.

- NUST employees with less than one year of service with NUST and / or absence of NOCfrom Head of Institution.

- In process of pursuing a required degree.

- Medically unfit.

- Only selected candidates will be contacted and issued offer letter.

- Candidates serving in Govt departments, Armed forces may apply after seeking NOC from their respective parent department / organizations.

- Late / incomplete applications will be ignored.
