Job Opening: Assistant Manager Budgeting & Reporting

AKHS, Pakistan is seeking a seasoned and dynamic Assistant Manager Budgeting & Reporting for its Central Office in Karachi.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Assist in creating annual budgets based on financial forecasts and strategic goals.
  2. Evaluate expenses to identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
  3. Compare actual expenditures with budgeted figures to assess financial performance.
  4. Ensure funds are distributed effectively across departments or projects.
  5. Periodically revise budgets to reflect changing business needs.
  6. Prepare financial statements, summaries, and periodic reports for management.
  7. Ensure financial reports comply with legal and industry standards.
  8. Monitor key financial indicators such as profit margins, cash flow, and return on investment.
  9. Provide insights from financial data to aid strategic decision-making.
  10. Collaborate with various departments to gather financial information and ensure reporting accuracy.
Requirements: Experience, Skills, and Competencies
  1. Master's degree in finance or a relevant field; professional finance qualifications such as ACCA, ICMA, or CA-Finalist are preferred.
  2. Minimum of 4-5 years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years post-qualification, preferably within a large healthcare setup.
  3. Strong knowledge of financial systems, IFRS standards, and statutory/tax regulations.
  4. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex issues and solve problems.
  5. Proficiency in MS Office applications.
  6. Sound understanding of accounting obligations, rules, and tax implications.
