Responsibilities:

Job Summary:

The main purpose of this position is to support DLM IT and Infrastructure Audit in performing risk management, internal controls, and governance of Information Technology systems and business applications. The incumbent is responsible for supporting senior management to develop, manage, and execute an audit plan using a risk-based approach, including identifying risks and controls.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Participate in developing the annual internal audit plan for review and approval by the Chief Internal Auditor and Audit Committee.
  • Support in developing internal audit and assurance assignments related to IT systems and infrastructure.
  • Assist the GM IT Audit and Technical Operations in implementing IT audit frameworks, templates, and checklists within the approved audit plan across the organization.
  • Provide guidance to business and IT management on IT risk management, especially regarding application and infrastructure security.
  • Support the development and maintenance of the company's IT Risk Assessment, identifying areas for additional investment by business units.
  • Manage the audit team in conducting IT audits of system applications and processes.
  • Prepare audit reports for senior executives and the Audit Committee.
  • Manage IT security audits, including evaluation of vulnerabilities in networks, operating systems, and data centers, coordinating with business units and external experts.
  • Assist in preparing presentations for the Audit Committee to discuss audit findings and projections.
  • Review IT management policies and procedures such as change management, business continuity, disaster recovery, and information security, ensuring controls are adequate.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of audit activities, IT risks, and controls to create effective audit work programs.
  • Assess IT risks and internal control weaknesses, advising on best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with the Enterprise Risk Management Framework and the company's Principles and Ethics Policy.
  • Undertake additional tasks assigned by senior management.
  • Identify risks in internal audit observations and communicate them to management for risk mitigation.
