Responsibilities

Job Summary

The position provides overall strategic and operational direction to Human Resources, Administrative and Medical Services functions, ensuring implementation of SSGC's policies and procedures and smooth administration of benefits. Acts as an internal consultant and change agent to ensure cultural and organizational initiatives are understood and accepted. Establishes and implements policies and processes for the entire HR life cycle. Willingness to spend a minimum of 25% time within the SSGC franchise area.

  • Develop creative practices and programs to identify, recruit, evaluate and hire the best talent to meet changing business needs.
  • Set and lead towards a vision for exceptional talent management practices to meet current and future staffing needs and skill requirements.
  • Execute manpower planning, internal promotion, career growth and recruitment strategy to ensure availability of the right talent at the right time; influence talent management and recruitment processes as required.
  • Drive employee engagement by collaborating with department heads to develop internal communications processes, cultural assessment tools, and training interventions to promote morale and productivity.
  • Execute talent management programs including performance management, training, compensation and incentives design and implementation, total rewards and benefits, compensation surveys, and wage/salary administration.
  • Coach and advise on core HR functions including organizational design, HR policies, and best practices.
  • Lead development and execution of HR strategic and annual plans aligned with organizational goals and mission.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and best practices in HR and administration to ensure efficiency, accuracy, timeliness, and responsiveness.
  • Manage Corporate Employee Health, Group Life and other relevant Insurance policies for employees and dependents.
  • Responsible for HR and Administration department budget; review and negotiate HR-related contracts and agreements.
  • Oversee executive facilitation, travel, maintenance of buildings, equipment and facilities, office administration including leases, front desk, office supplies, janitorial services, and management of administrative support staff.
  • Lead the planning and formulation of HR strategy in line with the company's business strategy.
  • Direct routine HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, compensation, transfers, job rotation, training, promotions, succession planning, leave management, personal records, biometric attendance, medical/health benefits, retirements and separation of services in line with prescribed policies.

  • Implement the company's vision, culture, and performance standards and ensure adoption at all levels of the division.
  • Oversee recruitment of management personnel to ensure optimal execution of duties within the division.
  • Mentor key personnel for competency enhancement and career growth; support succession planning.
  • Define structure and execution of strategic initiatives, conduct analyses, and develop actionable recommendations.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to executives on operations, cost control, and opportunities.
  • Evaluate and recommend division-wide strategies, concepts, practices, programs and processes.
  • Establish performance measures to determine effectiveness of policies and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with division leadership to evaluate performance against targets and adjust as needed; establish KPIs and generate regular analysis reports for leadership.
  • Collaborate across the organization with top leadership on projects and initiatives to improve service delivery; oversee major projects and reporting.
  • Ensure free flow of ideas and information across the division; undertake other tasks as assigned.
