We are looking for a skilled Game Tester with 2+ years of experience in testing mobile and web games. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a passion for gaming, and experience in identifying and reporting game-related issues. You will be responsible for testing game mechanics, performance, and usability to ensure a smooth and engaging player experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform manual and automated testing for mobile (iOS & Android) and web-based games.
  • Execute test cases, test plans, and exploratory testing to find bugs and performance issues.
  • Identify, document, and track bugs using ClickUp or other bug-tracking tools.
  • Verify UI/UX consistency, responsiveness, and game flow across different screen sizes.
  • Test multiplayer functionality, game mechanics, animations, AI behavior, and monetization features (ads, in-app purchases, etc.).
  • Collaborate with developers, designers, and QA teams to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Perform network testing for real-time gameplay, matchmaking, and leaderboard functionality.
  • Validate game updates, patches, and new releases to ensure smooth deployments.
  • Provide feedback on gameplay experience, difficulty balancing, and overall user engagement.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in game testing for mobile and web games.
  • Strong understanding of game development lifecycles and QA methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience with bug-tracking tools like JIRA, ClickUp, Mantis, or Bugzilla.
  • Familiarity with Unity and Cocos Creator game engines.
  • Experience testing Android and iOS apps, including installs, crashes, and UI behavior.
  • Understanding of multiplayer testing, network connectivity, and latency issues.
  • Ability to work in Agile/Scrum environments and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication skills for clear and concise bug reporting.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):

  • Experience with automated testing tools for mobile games.
  • Exposure to PlayFab, GameSparks, or other backend services for game testing.
