We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Network Lead for a dual-unit, multi-floor textile garment facility. This role requires a professional with a foundational understanding of system administration, strong expertise in network infrastructure, and hands-on experience in configuring and managing Cisco switches, Sophos Firewalls, and access points would be a plus. The ideal candidate will also lead a small team of junior network resources, ensuring smooth operations and effective collaboration with the central head office team.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Network Administration and Configuration

·Configure and manage Cisco Manageable Switches, ensuring optimal network performance and security.

·Administer and troubleshoot Sophos Firewalls for enhanced network protection.

·Set up and manage Cisco Access Points and Wireless Controllers to ensure seamless wireless connectivity.

2.Team Leadership and Coordination

·Supervise and guide two junior network resources, delegating routine tasks and providing mentorship.

·Ensure the team adheres to company standards for troubleshooting, deployment, and documentation.

3.Connectivity and ISP Coordination

·Collaborate with ISP's and Inform timely to Central Head Office Team to ensure robust connectivity with main aggregation sites.

·Perform routine checks on the network infrastructure to prevent downtime and optimize uptime.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in network administration, preferably in a production or manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in configuring and managing Cisco switches, Sophos Firewalls, and Cisco Access Points & Controllers.
  • Basic understanding of system administration and troubleshooting.
  • Hands-on experience in managing physical network infrastructure, including cabling and hardware deployment.

  • Excellent communication skills for effective coordination with head office teams.
