Requirements
  • ACCA/CA/CPA/CMA qualified or pursuing.
  • Proficient in VAT and Tax Computations.
  • 2-3 years of relevant work experience, preferably in an accounting firm.
  • Excellent knowledge of Accounting standards.
  • Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.
  • Knowledge of quality standards and quality assurance policies and procedures.
  • Proficient in English.
Responsibilities
  • Interact proactively with clients to address inquiries, concerns, and issues.
  • Conduct in-depth interviews with clients to understand their financial situations.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Recommend additional financial products and services that meet clients' needs.
  • Advise clients on relevant laws related to VAT, CT, AML, ESR, UBO, etc.
  • Stay updated with tax laws and regulations, providing current guidance to clients.
  • Assist clients in understanding and complying with tax requirements to minimize penalties.
  • Calculate taxes owed accurately following tax codes and regulations.
  • Prepare a variety of tax returns for individuals and small businesses.
  • Help clients leverage tax codes to maximize benefits.
  • Identify deductions and credits, advising clients on tax minimization strategies.
  • Oversee VAT and CT registration requirements and thresholds.
  • Verify the accuracy of past tax returns and maintain reconciled records.
  • Refer to tax law handbooks for complex returns ensuring compliance.
  • Manage bookkeeping tasks, including Payables and Receivables.
  • Oversee petty cash management and coordinate with banks for deposits.
  • Maintain accurate client account records.
  • Review and analyze financial records, including income statements and expenses.
  • Update financial trackers and databases regularly.
  • Ensure tracking systems are accurate and accessible.
  • Use electronic filing software for tax return preparation and filing.
  • Provide clients with copies of their completed tax returns.
  • Prepare periodic summary reports for management.
