Job Summary:

Job is focused on developing and maintaining peer-to-peer relationships with key medical experts. This role will primarily support the company's medical education and medical guidance programs. The MSL will collaborate with physicians and other medical experts to support trial enrollment and protocol training, educational program for HCPs and ensure that healthcare professionals have the most up-to-date medical information on new treatment & disease management modalities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Uses systems to strategically map, identify, profile and prioritize thought leaders in line with the medical plan and goals.
  • Maintain accurate reporting and documentation of MSL activities.
  • Develop and maintain peer-to-peer collaborations and relationships with key medical experts in selected specialized fields.
  • Collaborate with physicians on medical affairs initiatives including publications, advisory boards, medical education opportunities, training, and speaker development.
  • Serve as a scientific peer-to-peer resource to external disease experts and internal stakeholders
  • Support the medical community with up-to-date medical information, disease expertise, and product information.
  • Train internal stakeholders (mainly sales teams) on key scientific and medical topics in the relevant therapeutic areas.
  • Support clinical development initiatives including site identification, trial recruitment, registry, and presentation of final approved data.
  • To conduct research capacity-building workshops (SIGMA) to local HCPs for various sales teams whenever needed.
  • High understanding of ICH-GCP guidelines, Getz Pharma policies and procedures, international scientific standards, and local regulations.
  • Maintain a good relationship with listed medical experts and interact by exchanging quality scientific knowledge.
  • Maintain strong oral and written communication skills (including presentation skills) of relevant therapeutic and disease areas.

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills:

  • Scientific expertise in the relevant therapeutic area.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills (including presentation skills) of relevant therapeutic and disease areas.
  • Ability to understand and effectively convey emergent scientific and HEOR data.
  • Working knowledge of the healthcare system and research procedures as well as the ICH- GCP and other ethical guidelines relevant to the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Should be able to maintain a good relationship with listed medical experts and interaction on quality of scientific knowledge exchange.
  • Keep up to date with the latest scientific research and clinical data relevant to focused drugs or newer therapies.
  • Teamwork skills and an ability to work effectively with a variety of colleagues and cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (Pharm-D), Medicine (MBBS), or Dental Surgery (BDS) from a recognized institution is required.
  • Should have 2 to 4 years of experience in the medical, research, or sales functions within a pharmaceutical or healthcare organization, or possess teaching experience at a medical university.
