Ingredion is looking for a motivated Mechanical Engineer at our Faisalabad Plant

Responsible for directing manufacturing operations performed in a shift or group of production lines, ensuring they reach volume, quality, and cost goals.

This role reports to the Manager Maintenance.

What You Will Do
  • Mechanical Operation & Maintenance – Hands-on experience with operation & maintenance of mechanical equipment like pumps, gears, conveyors, sifters, dryers, elevators, mills, centrifuges, ID / FD fans, and compressors. Design of mechanical systems, familiarity with maintenance techniques like alignment, balancing & condition monitoring, IMS/GMP requirements, etc.
  • Maintenance Activities – Responsible for effective & timely maintenance of mechanical systems & auxiliaries, ensuring compliance with PM & condition-based schedules via SAP. Develop & implement PM/CM schedules, introduce smart maintenance techniques for resource optimization, evaluate critical store items, generate PRs, assess QEMs for material selection, and follow up on deliveries. Maintain standby equipment readiness.
  • Project Execution – Share new quality ideas, prepare feasibility reports, BOQs, follow procurement, and ensure safe execution of capex/MOC projects within stipulated timelines. Contract management is mandatory.
  • EHS Responsibilities – Implement EHS standards, conduct risk assessments, and ensure a safe working environment for subordinates.
  • Cost Reduction – Identify opportunities for cost savings, recommend new equipment/methods, and procedures to reduce labor expenses.
  • People Development – Build relationships with stakeholders, foster a team-based approach, develop staff awareness of best practices, supervise & guide technical activities, and follow TNA for staff development.
  • Compliance – Ensure compliance with electrical-related legal requirements of the company.
What You Will Bring
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Experience in Petrochemical, Fertilizer, Process, or Food industries
  • 4-7 years of hands-on experience in operation & maintenance of electrical installations
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken
