Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Business Development Manager at AIMS Education, located in Lagos with the option for some work from home.

Responsibilities

  1. Identifying new business opportunities, including new markets, new clients and new partnerships
  2. Creating strategies to reach new business opportunities successfully
  3. Building relationships with new clients, gauging their needs and developing proposals to address these needs
  4. Maintaining and developing relationships with current clients
  5. Pitching sales and services to new and existing clients
  6. Attending conferences and events to build relationships with industry partners and staying up to date with new trends
  7. Creating sales forecasts and actively working towards reaching them
  8. Possessing a strong understanding of the company's services, the competition in the industry and positioning

Qualifications

  1. Strong Sales, Business Development, and Relationship Management skills
  2. Experience in the education or international student recruitment industry
  3. Strategic Planning and Market Analysis skills
  4. Excellent Communication and Negotiation skills
  5. Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
  7. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
  8. Previous experience in a similar role is a plus
