Team Leader, Mashreq Securities Operations (Mashreq Global Network Pakistan)
Job Purpose
  • Handle Brokerage Operations related E2E activities as per laid down procedures and ensure that there is no operational loss.
  • Timely submission of MIS to the stakeholders
  • Regulatory reporting to respective Regulatory body
Key result Areas
  • Handle Mashreq Securities Operations E2E and Resume manager's role in absence of the MS Operations' manager
  • Ensure timely submission of regulatory reporting and timely responses to the Regulators in all raised aspects/queries
  • Reporting HO trades done through Mashreq Securities to CAD for booking the same in HO books
  • Execution and 100% supervision of Corporate Actions relates to DFM / ADX / NASDAQ markets along with GCC related markets without any error
  • Handle NIN related activities and Stock Transfers to and from market
  • Financial posting in the core system including daily settlements and Fund transfers
  • Handling and resolving Customer queries.
  • Preparation and timely execution of trade confirmation to the customers
  • Reconciliation of customer portfolio along with Mashreq's portfolio with the market including GCC markets, as per agreed intervals and investigations in case of any exception
  • Monitoring of LTV through out the day and reporting to TCM upon occurrence of any shortfalls or Margin calls
  • Monitoring Security Exceptions, if any, as per regulatory and market requirements
  • Recording and reconciliating Market VAT and reporting to CAD for posting and settlement
  • Ensuring Annual Mashreq Securities Firm renewal with DFM & ADX gets timely submitted
  • Addressing and Resolving the Failed trade management under PCCP for DVP trades, if any, and ensuring all DVP trades are matched and settled timely
  • Ensuring correct trade rules assigned to customers and accordingly & timely updating the same
  • Handling of IPO allocations post products creation internally and reconciling the allocation with the market well before listing date
  • Reconciliation of TLM entries daily
Automation
  • Liaise with Technology for implementation of New Treasury and / or upgrade existing systems to improve the process, control and risk management in Treasury Department.
  • Ensure Automation of all Manual work being executed in the department eliminating and reducing execution risk
Audit
  • Liaise with Internal/External and Central Bank auditors to provide all requested information and resolve audit queries.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
  • Processing of the above products involves in-depth understanding of the products/ markets.
  • Graduate from a recognized University.
  • Experience of 6 years in a brokerage house of medium-sized entity.
  • Competence in the use of standard software used in the Bank such as Globus, Flexcube, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Understanding of Product control activities for calculation of Profit and Loss.
  • Good team worker with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
