JOB TITLE: Manager Marketing (Technology Services)

DEPARTMENT: Marketing & Communications

REPORTS TO: SVP Marketing & Business Development

PURPOSE:

To lead, coordinate, and execute marketing initiatives that support our technology services business. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of technology concepts, excellent project management skills, and the ability to translate complex ideas into compelling marketing materials. This role involves close collaboration with external marketing agencies and internal stakeholders, including executives and service line leaders, to ensure timely, high-quality marketing outputs aligned with business needs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Campaign & Project Coordination:
    • Plan, manage, and oversee marketing projects and campaigns from inception to delivery.
    • Coordinate with external marketing and creative agencies to ensure timely and high-quality execution of deliverables.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Act as the primary liaison between the marketing team and internal stakeholders, including business unit heads and executives.
    • Gather, analyze, and understand marketing and branding needs from various teams to develop tailored solutions.
  • Content & Collateral Development:
    • Drive the creation of marketing content including brochures, presentations, case studies, videos, and other sales enablement materials.
    • Ensure all content is consistent with brand guidelines and effectively communicates the value of the company's technology services.
  • Technology Understanding & Translation:
    • Maintain a working knowledge of the company's services, industry trends, and technology landscape.
    • Translate complex technical concepts into clear and engaging messaging for marketing purposes.
    • Should be comfortable in creating stories / marketing concepts based on feedback from technical stakeholders.
  • Agency & Vendor Management:
    • Manage relationships with external marketing agencies, freelancers, and vendors.
    • Define scope, timelines, quality expectations, and deliverables for outsourced work.
  • Branding & Consistency:
    • Uphold brand integrity across all marketing initiatives and channels.
    • Work with design and branding teams to ensure a cohesive visual and messaging strategy.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field. A technical background or additional certifications in technology is a plus.
  • 7+ years of experience in a marketing coordination or project management role, ideally within the technology or professional services sector.
  • Strong understanding of technology services, digital transformation, IT consulting, or software solutions.
  • Proven experience working with marketing agencies and managing cross-functional teams or projects.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail and quality.
  • Proficiency with marketing tools (e.g., HubSpot, Asana, Trello, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
