Manage day to day production operation and supervise / perform all routine activities of Manufacturing & Packaging i.e. dispensing of raw material, blending, filling, perform in-process checks of every process and ensure on time delivery of batches in finished form.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure smooth and efficient functioning of Manufacturing & Packaging department in terms of men, machines & materials and effective utilization of machines through operational excellence tools.
  • Execute weekly plan in OSD Manufacturing & Packaging area and conformance of production schedule in timely manner within budgetary allocations.
  • Execute Production plan in Packaging facility and ensure that the production operation is being performed as per standard labor hour in order to achieve daily, monthly, and yearly targets.
  • Maintaining high levels of cGMP on the floor.
  • Work under directions of Manager Manufacturing and in multiple groups inter-departmentally to continue to improve the performance of the manufacturing process.
  • Take immediate corrective action if any type of discrepancy observed and espouse its preventive action.
  • Perform in-process checks in Manufacturing & Packaging area and perform the line clearance as per defined frequencies.
  • Check and provide line clearance at batch start and in-process check during process also monitor the packing process and control delivery of finished packs to finished goods store as per standard practice.
  • Prepare/ Review/ Revise BPRs, SOPs, production formats and identify the gaps to improve operations as per standard guidelines.
  • Striving to continual improvement in Production operations there-by nurturing high performing culture promote quality and maintain quality system or methods throughout the production department.
  • Prepare SOPs and production formats and identify the gaps to improve operations.

Required Qualifications & Knowledge:

  • At least a Pharm D degree with 2-4 years of experience
  • Knowledge about Manufacturing & Packaging Process.
  • Basic knowledge of QMS.
  • Knowledge about raw material dispensing.
  • Knowledge about clean room classification.
