We are currently seeking an experienced Account Assistant/Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate should at least possess a Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B. Com) and have a minimum of 1 to 2 years of continuous experience in a single organization.

Responsibilities:
  1. Handle daily accounting transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts, payments, and expense bookings.
  2. Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records.
  3. Familiarity with import working and documentation, including documentation for the opening of L/C, contracts, costing of imported materials, etc.
  4. File monthly sales tax returns and prepare sales tax challans.
  5. File quarterly withholding statements and prepare withholding challans.
  6. Maintain accounts payable, ensuring accurate and timely payment processing.
  7. Manage accounts receivable, including tracking and following up on outstanding invoices.
  8. Conduct monthly reconciliations of stock, sales, purchases, and production records.
  9. Any other related tasks.
Job Specification

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B. Com) or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 1 to 2 years of continuous experience in a single organization as an Account Assistant/Accountant.
  3. Strong understanding of daily accounting transactions and financial processes.
  4. Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Excel.
  5. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  6. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  7. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  8. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
