Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and multilingual Remote Customer Service Representative to provide exceptional support to our diverse customer base. The ideal candidate must be fluent in both English and Punjabi to effectively communicate with customers across different regions and cultural backgrounds while delivering outstanding service from a remote work environment.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Support Activities:

• Handle inbound customer inquiries via phone, email, live chat, and social media
• Provide product information, troubleshooting assistance, and service guidance
• Resolve customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner
• Process orders, returns, exchanges, and refund requests accurately
• Escalate complex issues to appropriate departments or supervisors when necessary
• Follow up with customers to ensure complete satisfaction and issue resolution
• Communicate fluently with customers in both English and Punjabi languages
• Adapt communication style based on customer preferences and cultural context
• Translate and explain complex product information in both languages
• Provide culturally sensitive customer service to diverse clientele
• Document customer interactions accurately in English for record-keeping purposes

Administrative Duties:

• Maintain detailed records of customer interactions in CRM system
• Update customer information and service history accurately
• Prepare daily and weekly reports on customer service metrics
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions via video conferencing
• Stay updated on product knowledge, policies, and service procedures

Required Qualifications

Language Requirements:

• MANDATORY: Fluent proficiency in both English and Punjabi (speaking, reading)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both languages
• Ability to switch between languages seamlessly during customer interactions
• Clear pronunciation and professional phone etiquette in both languages

Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Bachelor's degree preferred but not mandatory
• Previous customer service experience preferred (1-2 years)
• Remote work experience is an advantage
• Experience with multilingual customer support is a plus

Technical Skills:

• Familiarity with CRM software and ticketing systems
• Strong typing skills with accuracy
• Comfortable with video conferencing tools (Zoom, Teams, etc.)
• Basic troubleshooting skills for common technical issues
