Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience building robust and performant backend systems using modern technology such as Python, FastAPI, Cloud Load Balancing, Redis, asyncio, OAuth2.0, Pub/Sub (Protobuf), and Google Firestore (NoSQL).
  • Experience with LLM libraries like Langgraph and Pinecone.
  • Deep understanding of backend development best practices, including system design, performance optimization, async frameworks, and scalable architecture.
  • Ability to take initiative and get things done.
  • Quick evaluation of tradeoffs and sound technical decision-making in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Responsibilities
  • Engage with customers to understand their pain points and requests.
  • Design and plan potential solutions.
  • Develop backend features for new functionalities.
  • Improve LLM orchestration processes.
  • Set up infrastructure to support backend features.
  • Implement data observability (e.g., Amplitude) and error tracking (e.g., Sentry).
  • Test features through manual end-to-end tests and automated integration tests.
  • Address urgent issues promptly, balancing quick fixes and permanent solutions.
  • Gather customer feedback and iterate on solutions.
