Job Purpose

The ACCA Trainee will assist in various accounting and finance functions while receiving structured on-the-job training. This role is designed to help the trainee build practical experience, technical skills, and a solid foundation for a professional career in finance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in hands-on training across financial processes, systems, and procedures
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and internal reports
  • Support day-to-day accounts payable and receivable activities
  • Conduct reconciliations of accounts, bank statements, and financial records
  • Help ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, internal controls, and company policies
  • Maintain accurate and well-organized financial documentation and records
  • Contribute to team projects and continuous improvement initiatives within the finance department

Education & Experience

  • ACCA qualified
  • Prior internship or experience in accounting or finance is an advantage

Knowledge, Skills & Competencies

  • Accounting Knowledge: Familiarity with basic accounting principles and standards
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic financial software
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and focus in working with financial data
  • Adaptability: Ability to learn quickly and perform in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Teamwork: Collaborative attitude and willingness to support others in the finance function
