Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Educator to join our team as a Lecturer in Optometry/Orthoptics. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and supervising students, as well as contributing to the development of teaching programs.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Optometry/Orthoptics, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. They will also be expected to maintain accurate records of students' academic performance and provide feedback to students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach assigned courses as per faculty workload policy.
  • Develop your own teaching and learning skills and contribute to the planning of teaching programs.
  • Supervise student projects, field trips, and, where appropriate, placements.
  • Set, mark, and assess work and examinations and provide feedback to students.

Requirements:

  • A relevant qualification in Optometry/Orthoptics or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
