Job Overview

This role is a critical component of our organization's commitment to safety and environmental responsibility. We are seeking an exceptional individual who can support the implementation and day-to-day operations of Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) management across assigned units or clusters.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Hazard Identification & Inspection: Conduct routine inspections of facilities, grids, or field sites to identify potential safety hazards and ensure timely reporting to supervisors.
  2. Risk Assessment & Safety Monitoring: Participate in Job Safety Analyses (JSAs), risk evaluations, and implementation of mitigation measures as needed.
  3. Safety Program Support: Assist with the development and execution of safety awareness campaigns, training sessions, drills, and safer work methodologies per HSEQ guidelines.
  4. Incident Reporting & Investigation: Record and report safety incidents or near misses, initiate necessary investigations, and track corrective actions.
  5. Compliance & Process Safety Management: Support implementation of HSEQ and Process Safety Management (PSM) frameworks across business units.
  6. Coordination & Supervision: Coordinate with internal teams and contractors to ensure safe operations and adherence to company SOPs and safety protocols.
  7. Record-Keeping & Documentation: Maintain accurate HSE records, dashboards, audit logs, and documentation for compliance and internal/external audits.
Requirements
  • Diploma of Associate Engineering in a relevant discipline with supplementary HSE certifications such as NEBOSH or IOSH.
  • Additional training in OH&S Management Systems (e.g., ISO 45001), EMS (ISO 14001), Emergency Response, Risk Assessment, etc., would be an added advantage.
  • Typically expected: 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in HSE roles, especially in utility, industrial, or energy sectors.
