Job Title: Customer Service Representative

About the Role:

This role is centered around delivering exceptional customer service, processing transactions accurately and maintaining organized records. To excel in this position, you will need to possess excellent communication skills, be proficient in MS Office and have knowledge of banking products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure seamless transaction processing for general banking activities.
  2. Provide support to customers with account-related requests and record financial transactions.
  3. Verify and balance currency notes before storing them securely at the end of each day.
  4. Foster collaboration with various teams to ensure a smooth operation, effective floor management and high-quality service delivery.
  5. Recover applicable service charges on instruments and banking facilities.
  6. Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and adhere to regulatory requirements and Bank policies.
  7. Ensure quality ratings in reviews and audits from Quality Assurance Unit, Compliance, Internal, External and SBP Audits.

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Numerical and financial analysis skills.
  • Understanding of banking services, products and operations.
  • Adequate knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC).
  • Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
  • Strong Communication, Conflict Resolution and Customer Service Skills.
  • Knowledge and experience of Islamic Banking principles.
