About this Role:

We are looking for an IT Sales Manager to lead our sales strategy and drive business growth through innovative business development initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of online marketing techniques and mediums, as well as experience in the IT industry.

This role involves leading business development efforts on upwork.com or Guru.com, ensuring growth in revenue and profitability through the acquisition of new clients and increased opportunities within existing clients.

The successful candidate will work closely with our team to develop multi-level relationships with prospects, understand their needs, and make presentations to manage client relationships through implementation.

To achieve success, you will need to be tenacious, patient, and have an excellent understanding of how to leverage client relationships throughout the sales cycle to increase conversion rates.

A proven track record in business development with complex and high-value opportunities is crucial.

  • Research and follow-up on leads

  • Understand the needs of prospects and clients
  • Make presentations and manage client relationships through implementation

This role also involves playing a part in refining solutions for clients and uncovering new markets for the business.

A background in freelancing networks like Elance, Guru, Odesk, or business development experience in a similar industry or technology-based industry would be advantageous.
