Site Installation Specialist

">Job Description:

As a Site Installation Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful installation and commissioning of our network infrastructure.

The primary responsibilities of this position include training, coaching, and supervising teams on installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting.

Additionally, you will be responsible for addressing training gaps identified during theoretical and practical sessions, verifying site readiness, survey data, and material delivery against specifications, and ensuring EHS pre-work checks are completed and closed on time.

Furthermore, you will oversee installations as per standards, manage customer site acceptance, and provide ongoing support to teams.

You will also conduct quality audits, performance reviews, and ensure compliance with KPIs (Quality, Safety, Installation standards, session duration).

">Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong expertise in Ericsson Transmission, including knowledge of MW antennas, configurations, installation, and troubleshooting.
  • Radio experience: RBS 6000 installation, script loading, alarm clearance, and fault finding (2G/3G/LTE).
  • RF skills: installation, testing, and fault finding.
  • Civil and site survey knowledge (TSSR, site planning, telecom installation standards).
  • Bachelor's degree or Technical Trade Certification in Electrical/Electronics Engineering (NQF Level 4 or above).
  • Minimum 5–10 years' experience in GSM field installation, integration, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
