Job Summary

Lead the management and supervision of internal infrastructure, network, server, system, security, and outsourced vendor related aspects of the information technology department.

  • Manage and oversee desktop support to all workstations based on multiple projects.
  • Identify security risks in processes, evaluate technical opportunities, and promote more effective and efficient processes and procedures.
  • Understand advanced networking technologies and solutions, including IPV6, MPLS, BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, multicast, policy-based routing, ether-channel, QoS, traffic-shaping, load balancing, WAN Optimization, etc.
  • Have advanced knowledge of Cisco Nexus technologies such as vPC, VDC, Fabric Extension.
  • Experience with Cisco ASA, Firewalls, solid understanding of network utility services, including TFTP, FTP, DNS, DHCP, NTP, SMTP, SYSLOG, etc.
  • Monitor sip.conf, extensions.conf, and dialplan, troubleshoot problems created in Asterisk server and resolve them.
  • Develop and continually optimize the utilization of all business systems, including network, hardware, software, etc., troubleshooting systems as needed.
  • Participate in division and organization strategic planning, identify and advise on technical gaps and opportunities.

  • Ability to effectively prioritize, organize, use time-management skills, and be adept at multi-tasking.
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal and/or external customers.
  • Make independent decisions, accurate, detail-oriented, able to problem-solve/analyze, and maintain extreme confidentiality.
  • Manage data, functions, and business processes.
  • Knowledgeable in network security standards and protocols, a variety of server operating systems, including virtualization, and various methods of hardware, software, and data encryption, PCI compliance, and others as necessary.
