Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Transportation and Logistics professional to oversee the operations of our transportation company.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and managerial skills, with experience in transportation and logistics operations. They will be responsible for oversight of all aspects of transportation and logistics operations, including fleet management and dispatch coordination.

  • Oversight of all aspects of transportation and logistics operations, including fleet management and dispatch coordination.
  • Development and implementation of operational policies and procedures to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
  • Analysis of transportation metrics and implementation of improvements as necessary.
  • Supervision and training of staff to ensure adherence to company policies and provision of excellent customer service.
  • Coordination with drivers, dispatchers, and other team members to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
  • Management and optimization of fleet utilization, including maintenance, fuel efficiency, and route planning.
  • Ensuring compliance with all applicable safety regulations and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with proficiency in logistics software and MS Office Suite. They will also have strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
