Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Subject Matter Expert to join our team at Idara-E-Taleem-O-Aaghi, Pakistan.

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying core academic issues at primary and secondary levels, developing needs assessment tools, and evaluating teaching styles and methods in current practice through observation in all cluster schools.

In addition, the candidate will undertake extensive reviews of course books and syllabi, plan content and strategies to deliver devised content effectively, and facilitate school development plans as a key document for school improvement.

Other responsibilities include coordinating teacher training programmes, developing effective feedback methods for evaluation of training programmes, introducing and developing teaching aids, and facilitating parental involvement with academic and behavior issues of children.

To succeed in this role, you will have excellent communication skills, working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Urdu software e.g. InPage, ability to supervise support staff including drivers, and documentation skills e.g. record keeping, inventory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify core academic issues at primary and secondary levels.
  • Develop needs assessment tools for areas of intervention.
  • Evaluate teaching styles and methods in current practice through observation in all cluster schools.
  • Undertake extensive reviews of course books and syllabi.
