Data Collection Role in Paediatrics

As a Data Collector, you will be working at the forefront of research for better women and child health. Our community-based field sites across Pakistan provide a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact.

About the Role

This role is part of our outreach and research programme, which focuses on collecting vital data to inform healthcare strategies. You will be based in our well-equipped laboratories, where you will work closely with Senior Research Assistants to conduct household visits and collect anthropometric measurements.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular household visits according to project protocols;
  • Collect maternal and newborn data using standardised tools;
  • Support Senior Research Assistants during field activities;
  • Provide logistical support as needed;
  • Ensure timely data submission and reporting;
  • Follow field protocols and escalate any challenges to supervisors;
  • Perform other tasks assigned by supervisors as required.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A matriculation or higher qualification;
  • At least one year of experience in a hospital or research setting;
  • Prior experience interacting with diverse communities preferred;
  • Strong communication skills in English and/or Urdu;
  • Professional integrity and ability to follow instructions;
  • Maturity, reliability, and responsibility;
  • Basic computer skills (MS Word, Excel).
