About this Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Specialist to join our team. This is a key position that requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

  1. Collect timesheets from employees on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
  2. Process employee compensation using payroll software, incorporating allowances and bonuses as necessary.
  3. Prepare detailed reports on payroll expenses, compensation, benefits, insurance deductions and taxes.
  4. Enter new employee data into company databases, including tax identification numbers and bank accounts.
  5. Issue pay checks to employees or schedule bank payments.
  6. Plan, organize and control payroll management systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  7. Evaluate and maintain data security, network access and backup systems.
  8. Maintain accurate attendance records for all employees.
  9. Prepare accurate monthly payroll inputs, including updates on joiners, leavers, movers and changes in allowance, once-off payments and deductions.
  10. Maintain comprehensive employee lifecycle records in hard and soft form, as per company policy.
  11. Process employee payrolls, including calculations of hours, overtime, bonuses and deductions.
  12. Prepare detailed payroll reports and summaries for management, ensuring proper documentation for audits.

Requirements & Skills:

  1. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  2. Able to meet deadlines, prioritize tasks and work under pressure.
  3. Experience in similar related work, preferably with reputable organizations dealing with multiple domains.
  4. 3-4 years of experience working as a payroll/finance officer.
  5. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
