Network Engineer Position

We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer to join our IT team in Lahore. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, configuring, and operating small to medium-sized networks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance and operation of network devices and services including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPNs, and QoS.
  • Administration of corporate user accounts, mail servers, printer servers, and web servers.
  • Systems management, monitoring, and sustainment including hardware repair, software installation, and maintenance.
  • Implementation and administration of Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Radius Servers, and expertise in Mikrotik and PFsense & Hardware Firewalls.
  • Understanding of virtualization technologies (VMware ESXi host and Hyper-V).
  • Hands-on experience in defining multiple virtual servers on a single host machine.
  • Blocking web/application access to prevent malware attacks.
  • Installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of end-user workstation hardware, software, and peripheral devices.
  • Troubleshooting, archiving, and back-up of servers.
Requirements:Candidate Profile:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 2-4+ years of experience in network and system administration with a focus on security.
  • In-depth knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, VLAN, BGP, OSPF) and secure network architectures.
  • Hands-on experience with firewall technologies (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA) and VPN configurations.
  • Strong knowledge of server administration (Windows, Linux), system hardening techniques, and user authentication protocols.
  • Proficiency in configuring security technologies such as IDS/IPS, encryption tools, and endpoint protection.
