We're looking for a seasoned Development Team Lead to join our team and take on a key role in property acquisition. This individual will be responsible for expanding our portfolio of sites for churches and gas stations, while ensuring timely submission of tasks and reports. They will lead and manage the development team, initiate and maintain relationships with real estate brokers, and conduct thorough research and analysis to identify potential properties.

Responsibilities and Expectations
  1. Lead the Development Team: Oversee the development team who handle site analysis of our c-store sites, Quick service restaurants (Church's TX Chicken), and other large pieces of land.
  2. Broker Engagement: Develop and maintain relationships with real estate brokers specializing in commercial properties. Collaborate with brokers to identify suitable properties and present terms to the Director.
  3. Property Identification and Evaluation: Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify potential properties that align with our criteria and expansion goals. Present findings and recommendations to the development team for further consideration.
  4. Engagement with Property Owners: Proactively reach out to property owners to explore potential acquisition opportunities and build rapport with them to facilitate negotiations and secure favorable deals.
  5. Documentation and Due Diligence: Coordinate the preparation and review of legal documents, ensure all necessary due diligence procedures are conducted, and facilitate the smooth transition of acquired properties to the appropriate departments within the organization.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in civil works Engineering, Supply Chain, and/or Finance and relevant experience of 5 to 10 years is desirable.
  • Familiarity with development projects handling will be a plus.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and create detailed reports.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Proven experience in speaking and negotiating with brokers and landowners.
  • Ability to develop and implement action plans based on data analysis.
