Measurement Engineer Role

Apply for a senior position as Measurement Engineer at a utility company.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Maintain equipment integrity by ensuring compliance to safety procedures and supplying materials required.
  • Regularly calibrate gas measuring devices installed at consumer metering stations and town border stations.
  • Jointly calibrate sales metering stations with the transmission department on a regular basis.
  • Select and design meters as per load survey reviews and calculations.
  • Ensure uninterrupted supply of gas to high-pressure bulk customers.
  • Analyze and retrieve gas consumption data through remote monitoring systems.
  • Respond to fault calls promptly.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor budgets for maintenance and capital expenditures.
  • Purchase spare parts according to technical specifications.
  • Have experience with CC&B in measurement-field metering, approval authority, and reports group.
  • Manage and develop the workforce technically and administratively.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering with at least 9 years of relevant experience in the oil and gas sector.
