Senior Engineer - Gas Transmission

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer to oversee the operation of natural gas measuring equipment at industrial gas meter stations and Town Border Stations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of gas measuring equipment.
  • Implement precise and accurate gas management strategies.
  • Lead teams in proactive planning and scheduling processes to optimize manpower utilization and meet established schedules.
  • Manage gas volume sales to bulk customers and supervise installation, operation, and maintenance of Gas Turbine meters.
  • Oversee operations, maintenance, and calibration of Electronic Volume Correctors (EVC) / Turbine Output Correctors (TOC).
  • Maintain optimal spares availability for smooth operation.
  • Procure necessary equipment and spares in a timely manner.
  • Prepare malfunctioning advice/volumes and ensure timely input into the Customer Care & Billing system.
  • Develop and implement Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure targets are met.
  • Undertake additional tasks assigned by the supervisor to contribute to team success.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of SMSs, TBSs, DMSs, and other relevant systems, with expertise in Gas Transmission and Distribution.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Telecommunication, or Mechatronics.
  • Minimum 6 years of post-qualification experience in maintenance of gas meters and equipment used in the oil and gas sector.
  • Master's degree preferred.

This role requires a senior-level professional with exceptional leadership skills and technical knowledge.
