About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced IT Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and implementing solutions for complex systems.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Integration of clients into deployment and update infrastructures for Windows 10 Enterprise.
  • Planning and conception of migrations of Windows 7 clients into new infrastructure.
  • Distribution of clients across multiple sites through small network bandwidths.
  • Migration of scripts for initial inclusion in AD domain and configuration of Cisco AnyConnect VPN tunnels on Windows 10 LTSB.
  • Migration of clients from Windows Server 2008 R2 Active Directory domain to Windows Server 2016 Active Directory domain.
  • Implementation of migration steps in cooperation with support team.
  • Creation of rollout concept for approximately 650 clients with very short changeover period.
  • Independent definition and maintenance of target images for software, system and solution architectures.
  • Coordination of software, system and solution design in IT projects.
  • Identification of optimization potentials of IT processes from architectural point of view.
  • Review and evaluation of IT processes for inconsistencies and redundancies.
  • Acceleration of standards in IT systems and processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in delivering applications across on-premises and cloud-native infrastructures.
  • Experience in designing and further developing MECM architecture using distribution points/site servers.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager and Intune.
  • Solid knowledge in development of client releases in complex IT landscapes.
  • Relevant experience in dealing with Windows 10 in enterprise environment.
  • Good knowledge of operating systems, networks, servers, Internet and end devices.
  • Proven capabilities in modeling application and system architectures.

This is a remote job with two positions available. A minimum of eight to ten years' experience is required.
