This position plays a leading role in the global logistics market with unique logistics services. Our innovative IT technology has developed integrated logistics solutions, and we have expanded our logistics business by providing Business Process Outsourcing.

With over 30 years of experience in SCM/logistics consulting and system development projects, we have become Korea's number one IT service provider. We oversee daily operation activities, manage and plan both domestic and international transportation to meet customer satisfaction. This includes communication with customers, carriers, and internal management staff to ensure the maximum growth of our America branch organization.

Responsibilities:

1. Direct and provide leadership, implementing short-range plans and identifying goals and objectives to meet the business mission and strategic plans.
2. Manage daily operations to successfully deliver results, especially customer service and finance activities.
3. Increase the overall productivity of the branch by implementing relevant employee training, budgeting effectively, eliminating inefficiencies, and capturing growth opportunities.
4. Manage various functions related to air/ocean transportation, local distribution, drayage, logistics, and warehouse management.
5. Ensure operational best practices with customer requirements and company guidelines.
6. Utilize Standard Operating Procedures to resolve and correct problems.
7. Report and conduct thorough investigations for any service failures, accidents, misconduct, security issues, or claims to the concerned department for immediate support and/or response.
8. Produce reports and statistics on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis briefing team leaders on the issues for that particular day.
9. Conduct daily status meetings with the management team to review the prior day's performance and develop an action plan for the current day.
10. Manage branch end-to-end employee processes with HR: recruiting, retaining, managing performance evaluations, and compensation planning working closely with HR business partners (goal setting, promotions, succession planning, and compensation planning).
11. Develop high-performing work teams to effectively meet the changing needs of the business.
12. Support motivating, organizing, and encouraging teamwork within the workforce to ensure set productivity targets are met.
13. Support sales and the acquisition of new business.
14. Internal and external reporting with headquarters in Korea.
15. Forecast and manage yearly/monthly revenue and net income.

Bachelor's Degree in business-related fields, logistics, or Supply Chain required.

13+ years of Logistics Management experience required.

5+ years of experience as a logistics manager with a proven record of leadership and performance required.

Strong understanding of the international transportation/freight forwarding industry required.

Strong cross-functional teamwork, collaboration, interpersonal, written, and verbal skills.

Great interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate openly and effectively.

Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task.

Proficient with Outlook, Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, PowerPoint, Word.

TMS and WMS system experience preferred.

Ability to travel up to 10% in the US.

Bilingual Korean preferred.
