NetApp Storage and Backup Specialist

We are currently seeking a professional to join our team in the role of NetApp/Consultant Specialist.

  • Monitor and resolve issues on NetBackup jobs.
  • Perform NetBackup Agent upgrades/deployments as needed.
  • Participate in NetApp Storage activities, such as ONTAP (Operating System) upgrades, new builds, projects, and other planned operations.
  • Provide regional knowledge on incidents related to NetApp Storage and NetBackup.
  • Document, plan, and implement changes for Storage and NetBackup infrastructure.
  • Work as part of a regional team with local, regional, and global stakeholders within the organization.
  • Build and configure Windows systems.
  • Implement system upgrades via SCCM and scripting for automation.
  • Identify service-impacting trends and collaborate with development teams for long-term solutions.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to resolve problems and issues.
  • Support planning and installation of new operating system releases to ensure software currency.
  • Plan and install upgrades and new software, including local customizations.
  • Assist in planning and installing system software patches to address identified issues.
  • Manage system and software configurations through change control processes.
Key Responsibilities:
