As an IT Infrastructure Specialist, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of computer networks and systems. Your primary goal will be to ensure the smooth functioning and security of our network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage computer networks, systems, and applications in accordance with established standards.
  • Monitor network performance, identify issues, and perform necessary maintenance tasks.
  • Implement and maintain robust security measures to protect against cyber threats.
  • Provide technical support to users, including creating user accounts, managing permissions, and troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
  • Develop and maintain accurate documentation and inventory records for network infrastructure.
  • Ensure data integrity by conducting regular backups.
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to identify areas for improvement in network infrastructure.
  • Stay up-to-date on new technologies in the field of networking and systems administration.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an IT Infrastructure Specialist or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP), hardware (routers, switches), operating systems (Windows, Linux), and virtualization technologies (VMware).
  • Experience with network security tools such as firewalls and antivirus software.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex network issues quickly and efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.
