Our organization seeks a diligent and proactive IT infrastructure specialist to oversee the critical network systems 24/7.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring uninterrupted network uptime, banking system availability, and prompt response to incidents that may impact banking operations. This position requires strong technical expertise, banking system awareness, and a high sense of responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor core banking services, network devices, servers, and applications for performance and availability using monitoring tools.
  • Quickly detect, diagnose, and resolve incidents in real-time or escalate according to established escalation procedures.
  • Maintain operational logs, IT service management ticketing systems, and incident reports with clear documentation and time stamps.
  • Perform routine system health checks, backup verification, and data center support tasks.
  • Coordinate with internal IT teams and external vendors during outages, upgrades, or maintenance windows.
  • Evaluate Service Level Agreements (SLAs) compliance and proper escalation paths for critical issues.
  • Implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for system monitoring, event handling, and service restorations.
  • Participate in disaster recovery (DR) drills, security patching coordination, and system audits.
  • Stay informed about cybersecurity threats and report anomalies to the security team.
  • Support internal staff on IT-related issues in the absence of the Desktop Support Engineer.
  • Work in 24x7 shifts including weekends and public holidays.
