Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Public Relations Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining positive relationships with the media, ensuring timely dissemination of accurate information, and managing the company's image.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of local and national newspapers, as well as radio and television programs, to identify items that may impact the company's reputation.
  • Plan and execute regular visits to media houses or schedule meetings with anchorpersons and morning show hosts from various TV channels.
  • Evaluate and ensure the placement of all news and print publications in tier 1 and tier 2 newspapers.
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with the media fraternity to facilitate the dissemination of accurate information about the company.
  • Maintain excellent public dealing skills to act as a liaison within the organization.
  • Compile a list of cheques released against printed publications as received by the Press Information Department.
  • Oversee the media coverage of all events (internal and external) to project a positive image of the organization.
  • Collaborate closely with the media monitoring agency to track company/industry-related news/advertisements.
  • Ensure liaison with respective departments to obtain relevant data/information for publications.
  • Suggest changes to publications for improved readability, verify if publications align with guidelines, and submit draft designs to supervisors for review and further processing.
  • Support the development of communication strategies to ensure alignment with the company's vision and mission.
  • Secure strategic media placements to enhance corporate reputation and business goals.
