Office Assistant Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and organized office assistant to support our daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service by serving tea and coffee to staff and visitors.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the office, kitchen, and restrooms on a regular basis.
  • Dispose of trash, waste, and other disposable materials responsibly.
  • Regularly sweep, mop, and vacuum floors to keep them free of dirt, dust, and debris.
  • Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and floors.
  • Wipe and disinfect surfaces such as countertops, tables, desks, and door handles.
  • Dust furniture, fixtures, and window sills as needed.
  • Monitor equipment usage and report replenishment needs to management.
  • Assist in setting up meeting rooms for conferences and events.
  • Direct visitors to the appropriate staff or meeting rooms.
  • Support basic administrative tasks like photocopying, filing, and document delivery within the office.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Previous experience as an office worker or similar role is preferred.
  • Familiarity with office equipment such as printers.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
