Executive Director of Quality Assurance

This is a key role that involves leading teams in the execution of quality management activities to meet or exceed customer expectations. The successful candidate will drive execution based on established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to comply with customers' quality requirements.
The responsibilities of this position include:
- Overseeing the Quality Control inspection schedule to ensure appropriate manpower allocation;
- Couching and training QA/QC associates on inspection protocols, procedures, and report writing;
- Collaborating with relevant stakeholders on matters relating to product safety, product testing, product integrity, and social compliance;
- Coaching and training factory partners on good manufacturing practices to drive continuous improvement in quality management;
- Leading trouble shooting in conjunction with factory partners to resolve production-related issues and escalating issues to upper management and merchandising partners as necessary.
A strong candidate for this role will have leadership commitments including inspire others, grow talent, advance diversity equity and inclusion, and spark ownership. They should also possess behavioral competencies such as decision-making, communication, collaboration, conflict management and problem-solving, and driving execution. Language proficiency in English is required.
The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team to achieve common goals. They should have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, be able to prioritize tasks effectively, and maintain accurate records of their work. This role requires frequent travel, as required by the company.
