Job Title: Database Architect

Job Description:

The role of the Database Architect is to design and maintain robust, scalable, and reliable data systems that support various business needs. This senior-level position requires a highly skilled professional with 9+ years of experience in database architecture.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing systems that handle large volumes of data, ensuring they are scalable to meet future demands. They will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into effective data architecture solutions.

Additionally, the Database Architect will lead efforts to integrate data from various sources, ensure smooth data flow and transformation across systems, and implement efficient ETL processes for improved data handling.

They will also be responsible for ensuring data security by establishing robust security protocols and adhering to data protection regulations. Furthermore, they will develop and implement data governance principles to ensure the integrity and compliance of data systems.

Other responsibilities include optimizing queries and data models to improve data access speed, assisting in creating business intelligence tools and dashboards, and analyzing data to create visualizations that are easy to interpret and use for reporting and decision-making purposes.
