Unlock Clinical Insights with NLP

As a seasoned AI Engineer, you will be working on unlocking valuable insights from clinical notes, care plans, and patient documentation. Utilize transformer models and rule-based techniques to drive personalized care, behavioral analysis, and nonadherence detection.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop comprehensive NLP pipelines to extract symptoms, conditions, behaviors, and clinical context.
  • Fine-tune and deploy cutting-edge models such as ClinicalBERT, BioBERT, or BlueBERT.
  • Implement sectionizers, negation detection, and temporal classifiers using advanced tools like MedSpaCy.
  • Contribute to hybrid models that integrate unstructured and structured patient data.
  • Support the creation of personalized care interventions.
  • Collaborate closely with machine learning engineers, clinical analysts, and developers.
  • Ensure strict compliance with healthcare standards (HIPAA).
Required Skills
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in NLP/ML.
  • Hands-on expertise with transformers and fine-tuning pre-trained models.
  • A solid programming foundation in Python.
  • Experience working with PyTorch/TensorFlow.
  • Proficiency in utilizing libraries like spaCy and Hugging Face Transformers.
  • An understanding of context detection, classification, and named entity recognition.
  • Deployment experience in cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or GCP.
Nice to Have Skills
  • Experience with healthcare chatbots.
  • Prompt engineering or experience working with LLMs.
  • Knowledge of early warning scores and risk stratification.
  • Familiarity with clinical terminology and standards like ICD-10.
