Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with Development teams to promote and deploy applications in lower and production environments.
  • Share best practices to enhance team performance while learning from others.
  • Take ownership of issues with a sense of urgency and consistently make recommendations to improve application performance and environment stability.
  • Assist in communicating process changes, enhancements, and modifications.
  • Automate repetitive tasks to increase reliability.
  • Troubleshoot system latency to resolve application issues.
  • Guide resolution of technical issues, including identifying root cause and long-term solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong troubleshooting skills on IIS websites, windows services, scheduled tasks, internal applications, and other server-related issues.
  • Profound knowledge of Enterprise level IT processes and procedures, such as Ticketing, Change Control, and other ITIL processes.
  • Technical background and ability to work with engineers, developers, and end-users.
  • Must have strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Must have in-depth knowledge of Windows Server 2008/2012/2016/2019 and SQL Server 2008/2012/2014/2016.
  • Exhibits working knowledge of enterprise server storage, server infrastructure, networking, and other hardware or software technologies.
  • Experience with MS SQL Server (queries, DTS, stored procedures, data structures, and analysis).
  • Participates in 24x7x365 enterprise operational support as required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 3-5 years of prior experience in System Administration, System Engineering, or similar roles.
