Job Title: Student Residence Manager

Maintaining a secure and welcoming environment for students residing in the university residence is key to their academic success.

  • Ensure compliance with university regulations, protocols, and policies.
  • Establish and maintain orderliness, cleanliness, and hygiene standards throughout the residence premises.
  • Provide support and assistance to students as needed, fostering a positive community atmosphere.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and developing strategies to promote student well-being and safety. They will work collaboratively with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Resident Safety and Well-being: Ensure a safe and healthy environment by monitoring living conditions, enforcing rules and regulations, and providing emergency assistance when necessary.
  • Staff Management: Recruit, train, and supervise residence staff to maintain high standards of customer service and conflict resolution.
  • Community Engagement: Organize and participate in events that promote student engagement, teamwork, and social responsibility.

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education or relevant experience in residence management, hospitality, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
