Merchandiser Position in Retail Store

We are seeking a seasoned Merchandiser to join our retail store team. As a key member of our merchandising department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing merchandise strategies to drive sales and maximize profits.

This is a full-time position that offers visa sponsorship for the right candidate.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement merchandising plans based on market trends and customer demand
  • Analyze sales data to identify top-selling products and adjust inventory accordingly
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products and negotiate pricing
  • Collaborate with store managers to create visually appealing displays that attract customers
  • Monitor inventory levels and make recommendations for restocking or clearance of slow-moving items
  • Conduct regular store visits to ensure proper implementation of merchandising plans and provide feedback on product placement and stock levels
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a Merchandiser in a retail setting
  • Strong understanding of market trends and customer preferences
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data
  • Proven ability to negotiate with suppliers to achieve favorable pricing terms
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
