About the Job

The Quality Control Lead is a strategic position responsible for developing and directing the implementation of quality systems, processes, and records within the plant. This role ensures compliance with regulatory and customer requirements, working closely with site management to maintain consistency, practicality, and cost-effectiveness.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Lead the quality control team to produce precise, accurate, and timely test and calibration data.
  • Maintain and monitor the Corn Refiner Association program check sample program for facility.
  • Conduct out-of-specification investigations and maintain records, monitoring OOS trends.
  • Drive continuous improvements and apply scientific methodology.
  • Develop and implement new QC procedures as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry or Food Technology.
  • 8 years' experience in the Food or Pharma industry, with experience in a chemical laboratory.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
